April 28, 2026 — Huali Group was invited to attend the CDP Awards Ceremony and China Corporate Climate Report Launch Event, co-hosted by CDP, the global pioneer in environmental disclosure, and Shanghai Services Federation. The event, themed Disclosure as the Foundation, Action for the Future — Shaping Global Business Environmental Leadership, was held in Shanghai. The event convened representatives from government, business, academia, and research sectors to discuss cutting-edge topics including sustainable governance, disclosure standards, climate action, and green transition.
Achieving CDP A‑Rating and Joining the Global Leaders
In the 2025 CDP Environmental Disclosure Assessment, Huali Group earned a place on the CDP A List for its outstanding performance in corporate environmental transparency and climate governance. This positions Huali Group as one of only 35 companies in mainland China to achieve this distinction.
The CDP rating employs a rigorous methodology aligned with the TCFD framework, covering multiple dimensions such as depth of disclosure, awareness of environmental risks, ambition in target setting, and verified action outcomes. Huali Group earned an A‑rating on its first submission, signifying that the group has reached global leadership levels in disclosure completeness, environmental governance maturity, and climate resilience development.
Significant Improvement in Disclosure Quality in China
According to the latest data from CDP, in 2025, a total of 3,328 companies from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan disclosed environmental information through the CDP platform. This represents a nearly fivefold increase compared to 2018, making China the world’s second-largest country by number of CDP disclosures. Among these, 8% of companies achieved leadership-level ratings, and 35 mainland Chinese companies received an A‑rating, tripling the number that did so in 2024.This demonstrates significant progress in environmental governance, transparency, and action among Chinese enterprises.
Using the A‑rating as a New Starting Point to Deepen Green Transformation
Jacky Chang, CEO of Huali Group, stated:"We are deeply honored to receive the CDP A‑rating on our first submission. This serves as a strong recognition of the group's long-term investments in climate governance, green supply chain construction, and low-carbon manufacturing. In the future, we will continue to be guided by science-based targets, enhance environmental management across the entire industrial chain, and collaborate with upstream and downstream partners to advance carbon neutrality, contributing to global sustainable development."
Sherry Madera, CEO of CDP, noted:"Companies that achieve an A‑rating are demonstrating that environmental ambition and business strength can be mutually reinforcing. High-quality data empowers leaders to make planet‑positive decisions, which secure long-term competitiveness, attract investment, and protect natural ecosystems."
